OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 19, 2009) - Canadian Labour Congress President Ken Georgetti will speak at an Economic Club of Canada panel in Toronto Thursday, May 21 about how to best protect the pensions of Canadians.

The CLC consistently advocates for strengthened public pensions and for regulations to protect the private pensions of Canadians.

Georgetti will be available for media comment on pensions both prior to and following the Economic Club panel on May 21.
