Canadian Advertising Week, set to commence on January 24, has already sparked excitement with the announcement of this year's lineup of events and guest speakers, including legendary musician and marketing guru, Gene Simmons. The week-long event, spearheaded by the Institute of Communication Agencies (ICA), was created to showcase the accomplishments of the Canadian communications industry, celebrate the industry's social and economic impact on the Canadian landscape, and provide inspiring thought leadership to drive its future success. 

This year's exclusive keynote speaker, Gene Simmons, will share his marketing story of KISS, while additional speaking events throughout the week feature senior executives from Yahoo!, Google, AOL and MDC Partners. Other activities include documentary screenings, student mentorship initiatives, creative presentations, panel discussions and the CASSIES, the industry's annual advertising awards show, where the best in Canadian advertising is recognized and celebrated.
