Media Advisory: LCBO/Colio Estate Wines to Present $8,640 Cheque to Support Hospitalized Veterans

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Feb. 2, 2006) -

Attention: News and Photo Editors

WHAT: LCBO Chair and CEO Andrew S. Brandt and LCBO Ontario Wines
Product Manager Tami Karakasis will join Colio Estate Wines
President Jim Clark and Colio Estate Wines Financial Adviser
John Clark in presenting an oversized cheque for $8,640 to
Howie Bonter, Chairman, Hospital Trust, District "F" of the
Royal Canadian Legion, at the LCBO Queens Quay store on
February 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m.

These funds were raised during Colio's Year of the Veteran
promotion in select LCBO stores in the weeks prior to
Remembrance Day. During the promotion, Colio donated 60 cents
from each sale of its Chardonnay VQA 2004 and Gamay Noir VQA
2002 wines to the District F Hospital Trust.

The Hospital Trust uses funds raised to provide hospitalized
veterans with services that are not supplied through other
support channels. Such services include trips to resort areas
to give veterans a break from long-term hospital stays.

Last year was named The Year of the Veteran on the 60th
Anniversary of VE (Victory in Europe) Day.
