VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 13, 2012) - Four of Canada's leading researchers in areas relating to oceans and the Arctic will be speaking at the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting, in Vancouver, B.C. Media will have a chance to engage with these researchers at the Canada Press Breakfast on Friday, February 17, 2012. The panel will feature Marcel Babin, Canada Excellence Research Chair in Remote Sensing of Canada's New Arctic Frontier, Université Laval; Sherilee Harper, Vanier Canada Graduate Scholar in Aboriginal People's Health, University of Guelph; David VanderZwaag, Canada Research Chair in Ocean Law and Governance, Dalhousie University; and Maria T. Maldonado, Canada Research Chair in Phytoplankton Trace Metal Physiology, The University of British Columbia. The panel moderator will be Kate Moran, director of NEPTUNE Canada.
