Media Advisory: Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick to Present Awards for Support to Military Reservists

FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - Feb. 11, 2011) - Media are invited to an awards ceremony at Government House, Monday, February 14, 2011, at 10 a.m. (AST), where the Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) will formally recognize nine New Brunswick civilian employers and educational institutions that have granted Canadian Forces Reservist employees and students time away from work and studies for military service.

When: Monday, February 14, 2011 at 10 a.m.
Where: Government House, 51 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, N.B.
What: The Canadian Forces Liaison Council (CFLC) New Brunswick Employer Support Awards Ceremony and Signing Ceremony
Who: His Honour The Honourable Graydon Nicholas, Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick, will preside over the ceremony. Major-General Dennis Tabbernor, Chief Reserves and Cadets, will also attend the ceremony.
  In addition, The City of Fredericton, The City of Saint John, The City of Moncton, the University of New Brunswick, and the New Brunswick Community College will sign formal statements of support for Canada's Reservists.
