Media Advisory: Local Veteran Recognized for Lifetime of Service to Comrades

ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR--(Marketwire - June 11, 2009) - Senator Fabian Manning, on behalf of the Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will present the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation to Second World War Veteran John Adams. The Commendation is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves by contributing to the care and well-being of Veterans and to the remembrance of their contributions, sacrifices and achievements.
