OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Jan. 6, 2014) - The Ottawa Senators Foundation (@sensfoundation), in partnership with Ferguslea Properties Limited and the City of Ottawa, will begin the third project in its Sens RINK (Recreational Investments in Neighbourhoods for Kids) initiative with an official announcement for the revitalization of Bayshore Park on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
Originally scheduled to take place outdoors at Bayshore Park, this event will now be held in the at the Accora Centre due to potential inclement weather on Tuesday morning.
When and where: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Accora Centre, 98 Woodridge Crescent, Nepean. For a map of the area, please click here.
Who: Graham Macmillan, chairman of the Ottawa Senators Foundation Board of Directors; Senator Vern White, co-chair of the Sens RINK major gift committee; Danielle Robinson, Ottawa Senators Foundation president & CEO; Mark Taylor, Ottawa City Councillor; Barbara Crook and Dan Greenberg, Ferguslea Properties Limited representatives and Spartacat, the Senators' ambassador of fun.
Elementary school classes from St. Rose of Lima School will also participate in the announcement.
