TORRANCE, CA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2008) -

What:
Three of the 16 national winners in the Lexus
Environmental Challenge will be honored at Lexus'
headquarters. The three Los Angeles-based teams will
tour the Toyota/Lexus "green" campus and then attend
a recognition ceremony with Lexus executives and
associates.

Each team will receive $50,000 for their outstanding entries in the
Challenge, a national education program designed by Lexus and Scholastic to
educate and empower middle and high school students to take action to
improve the environment. The schools will receive grants for $10,000, the
teacher advisors will each get a $5,000 grant, and the students will share
$35,000 in scholarships for each team, for a total of $150,000.
