MEDIA ADVISORY - Mayor Miller to speak on election night

Mayor's remarks to open the Toronto Board of Trade's "Election Central" event Attention: Business/Financial Editor, City Editor, News Editor, Government/Political Affairs Editor TORONTO, ONTARIO, MEDIA ADVISORY--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 23, 2006) - Mayor David Miller will speak on election night, January 23rd, at opening of the Toronto Board of Trade's "Election Central" event.

The Mayor's remarks will focus on Toronto's needs from the next federal government.

"Election Central" is the Board of Trade's special reception event for attendees of that night's 118th Annual Dinner at the Metro Convention Centre. It will include giant screens showing results and information about key Toronto issues.

The event will be open to the media and Dinner attendees only. There will be opportunities to interview leaders/representatives of the business community, and support for live remote broadcasts.
