Media Advisory: Media Availability with Commander, Canadian Contribution to the Training Mission-Afghanistan

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 3, 2013) - Major-General Dean Milner, Commander, Canadian Contribution to the Training Mission - Afghanistan (CCTM-A), will host a teleconference on Wednesday, September 4 to provide an update on Canada's mission in Afghanistan.

What: Major-General Milner will make a statement, addressing the following topics:
An update on the CCTM-A, including the Canadian contribution to the NATO Training Mission in Afghanistan (NTM-A);
An overview of NTM-A current focus and progress; and
The Canadian mission legacy and drawdown

Following his statement, Major-General Milner will take questions for about 20 minutes.
