Media Advisory: Media Availability With HMCS Charlottetown Commanding Officer

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 6, 2012) - Commander Wade Carter, Commanding Officer of HMCS Charlottetown will host a teleconference on Friday, June 8, 2012, to provide an update on the ship's mission in the Arabian Sea region.

When: Friday, June 8, 2012, 10:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time

Where: Commander Carter will be calling in from a location in the Arabian Sea Region

What: Commander Carter, Commanding Officer of HMCS Charlottetown will make a brief statement addressing the following topics:

  • HMCS Charlottetown's participation in Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, the allied maritime security operation in the Arabian Sea region;
  • HMCS Charlottetown's accomplishments while deployed;
  • The Commanding Officer's personal experiences while deployed; and
  • Importance and value of the ship's deployment in the Arabian Sea region to Combined Maritime Forces.

Once Commander Carter has completed his statement, he will take questions on these topics for approximately 15 minutes.
