Media Advisory: Media Availability with Principal Skaters from Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 20, 2007) - Disney On Ice invites media representatives to attend as the stars of Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic skate practice in preparation to their opening night performance.

Mickey, Minnie and their friends from Disney's Mulan, The Lion King and Pinocchio, as well as special guests from Disney presents Pixar's The Incredibles and Finding Nemo, will visit Scotiabank Place from March 21 to 25. The event will feature nine shows with this years theme of Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic. Produced by Feld Entertainment, Inc., this fanfare production features a sing-along score of award-winning Disney music, first-rate choreography, elaborate, eye-dazzling sets and beautiful costumes.

Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic will perform nine shows over the course of five days from March 21 to 25 as follows:

Wednesday, March 21 - 7 p.m.

Thursday, March 22 - 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m.

Friday, March 23 - 7 p.m.

Saturday, March 24 - noon, 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Sunday, March 25 - 12:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (French show)

Tickets to this Disney On Ice adventure are $55 (rinkside seats), $40, $26, $17, and $12 for all shows. Special Opening Night Discount is $12 for all tickets, excluding rinkside seats. Prices include all taxes exclude CRF and convenience charges.

Children (12 and under) and seniors (65 and over) will receive $3.50 off the full priced tickets for 7 p.m. performances on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and the 4 p.m. show on Sunday. No discount on rinkside seats for any of the shows. No double discounts.

Groups of 15 or more will receive $4.50 off each ticket on all performances from Friday through Sunday (excluding rinkside seats). In addition, all tickets for the Thursday 10:30 a.m. performance will just be $10 (excluding rinkside seats). All seats for the Thursday 7 p.m. performance are $12 (excluding rinkside seats).
