BRUSSELS, BELGIUM--(Marketwired - April 27, 2016) - Hunter Tootoo, Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, will be available to media from Brussels, Belgium where he is attending the Seafood Expo Global from April 26 - 28, 2016.
The Minister is meeting with senior European Union officials to boost trade and show support for Canada's fish and seafood industry. He will be available via teleconference to provide an update on his discussions on key international and European Union trade issues such as continued access for the Canadian lobster industry, expanding fish and seafood markets, issues affecting the Arctic as well as plans to combat illegal fishing on the high seas.
