Media Advisory: Media Invited for a Preview on Nov. 1 as terra20 Opens on Wellington Street W.

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 31, 2013) - On Nov. 1 members of the media are invited to attend a private soft launch of terra20's second store, a boutique in Ottawa's Wellington West Village. Ottawa-founded terra20 launched its first store in the Pinecrest Shopping Centre just over one year ago, making it North America's largest eco-retailer.

The second store reflects a shift to a smaller-scale, community-based model that will characterize new Ottawa stores going forward. This includes:

• Commissioning Transportation Demand Management research to encourage sustainable transportation options amongst staff and customers;
• Crowdsourcing local residents through social media to determine which community initiatives terra20 will support;
• Working with local residents to better understand the flavour and priorities of the neighbourhood, and how terra20 can meet its needs.
