Media Advisory: Member of Parliament Steven Blaney to Unveil a Commemorative Plaque

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - June 25, 2009) - Mr. Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Levis-Bellechasse, will unveil a Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada plaque commemorating the national historic significance of the St. Lawrence Seaway. This event will take place during the festivities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the St. Lawrence Seaway.

Mr. Blaney will unveil the plaque on behalf of Canada's Environment Minister and Minister responsible for Parks Canada, the Honourable Jim Prentice.
