Media Advisory: Minister Ashfield to Officially Open the Richard J. Currie Center at the University of New Brunswick

FREDERICTON, NEW BRUNSWICK--(Marketwire - Oct. 6, 2011) - The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, will be at the University of New Brunswick's Fredericton campus to officially open the new Richard J. Currie Center. Federal funding for the construction of the Human Performance Laboratory in the Currie Center was delivered through the Government of Canada's Knowledge Infrastructure Program.

Minister Ashfield will tour the facilities at 12:20 p.m. and will take part in the grand opening ceremonies at 1:00 p.m. in the Currie Center's Performance Hall. The Minister will be available for questions and photos.
