Media Advisory: Minister Paradis Speaks to the Relationship Between the Private Sector and Poverty Reduction

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 28, 2014) - In a keynote address at a conference hosted by the Government of Canada in partnership with the World Economic Forum, the Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development and Minister for La Francophonie, will discuss how creating sustainable economic growth is our most effective tool to eradicating poverty around the world. Canada can leverage its position as a world leader in responsible resource development to help countries transition from development partners to self-sustaining and prosperous trading partners able to provide for their citizens.
