Media Advisory: Minister of Veterans Affairs Honours Citizens of Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Yukon

CALGARY, ABERTA--(Marketwire - July 20, 2009) - The Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, will present the Minister of Veterans Affairs Commendation to eight citizens of Alberta, one from Saskatchewan and two citizens from the Yukon. The Commendation is presented to individuals who have distinguished themselves by contributing to the care and well-being of Veterans and to the remembrance of their contributions, sacrifices and achievements.
