Media Advisory: Mississauga Hosts a Town Hall Meeting with Provincial Politicians

MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2007) - The City of Mississauga is hosting a town hall meeting with politicians from the Liberal Party, NDP, Progressive Conservative Party and the Green Party. Each provincial representative will be addressing issues that impact the City of Mississauga.

When: Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Council Chamber,
Mississauga Civic Centre, 300 City Centre Dr., Mississauga.

Who: - Minister of Finance Greg Sorbara representing the Liberal Party;
- Shaila Kibria representing the NDP for Mississauga-Erindale,
- Tim Peterson representing the Progressive Conservative Party for
Mississauga South and;
- Leader of the Green Party of Ontario, Frank de Jong.

What: Each party representative has been invited to attend the town hall
meeting, with an invited audience of Mississauga stakeholders and
residents as observers, and moderated by CityNews Weekend Anchor and
Reporter, Francis D'Souza.

Why: The citizens of Mississauga should be aware of the issues that most
impact our city and require action from our provincial
