MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 22, 2008) - For the second year running, Molson and the Montreal Alouettes invite the general public to give the gift of blood during their annual blood drive. The event, organized in collaboration with Hema-Quebec, will take place this Thursday April 24, at the John Molson Room located at Molson Brewery on Notre-Dame Street.

From 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Alouettes players Bryan Chiu, Pascal Masson, Matthieu Proulx, Danny Desriveaux and Eric Lapointe (president of the Alouettes Alumni), in the company of team cheerleaders and mascot Touche, will take turns to thank donors for their generosity. A number of attendance prizes will be drawn on site, including a signed Alouettes football and jersey as well as five (5) pairs of tickets for a regular Alouettes season game.

Molson's Monique Depatie, Manager, Community Relations and event spokesperson, will be on hand throughout the day with teams of Molson volunteer employees and executives to ensure that clinic activities proceed smoothly.
