Media Advisory: Montreal Alouettes Serve Thanksgiving Dinner at Welcome Hall Mission

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 6, 2011) - Welcome Hall Mission is excited to have the Montreal Alouettes serve Thanksgiving Dinner at the Men's Mission on Monday, October 10th following the annual CFL Thanksgiving Day game. The players will continue their tradition by exchanging their football uniforms for Welcome Hall Mission aprons and personally serve some turkey with a side of hope to hundreds of homeless Montrealers!

This is an opportunity to see the Alouettes in action, tackling the issue of poverty in Montreal. They are not only bringing attention to this complex issue, but are also offering encouragement and hope to those who need it most. There are approximately 30,000 homeless people in Montreal – more than a sell-out crowd at Percival Molson Stadium! Knowing that someone cares and is taking the time for them makes all the difference in the world to this marginalized population.
