Media Advisory: More Than 3500 Quebec Youth Will Gather at Uniprix Stadium for the 3rd Robotics Festival, March 20-22

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - March 18, 2014) - This Thursday, March 20th, will mark the launch of the third annual Robotics Festival - three days where high technology will meet extreme sport to produce a thrilling competition for over 3,500 young participants, nearly twice last year's turnout!

Media are being invited to meet the participants and to film and photograph them in action during the Festival's most nail-biting segments, i.e. during the robot inspections, practice rounds and opening matches.

Challenge for 14-18 year-olds, dubbed "AERIAL ASSIST" this year (building a functioning robot capable of passing and catching fitness balls);
LEGO® challenge for 9-14 year-olds (designing robots able to carry out disaster preparation, response and rebuilding missions; theme "NATURE'S FURY").
