Media Advisory: MP Maguire to Announce Opening of Three New Port of Entry Facilities

GOODLANDS, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Aug. 18, 2014) - Media are invited to join Member of Parliament Larry Maguire (Brandon-Souris), on behalf of the Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, for the official opening of new port of entry facilities at Goodlands, Coulter and Lyleton.

Directions:

From Winnipeg to Goodlands port of entry (318 km): From McGillivray Blvd/Route 155 West, continue onto Boundary Commission Trail/MB-3 West (950 m). Turn right onto Red Coat Trail/MB-2 West (signs for Treherne), travel 198 km. Turn left onto MB-10 South (signs for Boissevain), travel 49 km. Turn right onto Boundary Commission Trail/Highway 34/MB-3 West (signs for Deloraine), travel 33 km; turn left onto MB-21 South (signs for Bottineau), continue until Goodlands port of entry.

From Brandon to Goodlands port of entry (128 km): From 18th Street/MB-10 South, travel 78 km. Turn right onto Boundary Commission Trail/Highway 34/MB-3 West (signs for Deloraine), travel 33 km. Turn left onto MB-21 South (signs for Bottineau), continue until Goodlands port of entry.

Parking:

Limited parking is available on the east and west side of the Goodlands port of entry. Roadside parking on the highway to the north is available for overflow.
