Media Advisory: Nation-wide campaign to ban asbestos gets support in Nova Scotia

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - Nov. 9, 2016) - The CLC will host a news conference at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 10 at Province House in Halifax to address the need for a comprehensive ban on asbestos. The news conference coincides with this week's launch of two online videos that raise awareness about the danger posed by asbestos and the need for a ban. Speakers at the news conference include Donnie Taylor, who was exposed to asbestos at work as a shipbuilder, and Nova Scotia NDP health critic, Dave Wilson.
