CFB TRENTON, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 1, 2005) - Media are invited to the passenger terminal on the north side of 8 Wing Trenton on August 3rd for the arrival of approximately 70 soldiers as they return following a six-month deployment in Afghanistan. The soldiers are expected to land in CFB Trenton at 8:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, soldiers will clear Canada Customs with Petawawa-based soldiers departing immediately for CFB Petawawa where they will reunite with their families

Soldiers who reside in locations across Ontario will remain in Trenton to complete necessary post-deployment administration and medical examinations before returning to their units the following day.
