Media Advisory/National Research Council Canada: Minister Prentice to Make Announcement

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Dec. 17, 2007) - The Honourable Jim Prentice, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for the National Research Council Canada (NRC), and the Honourable Rona Ambrose, President of the Queen's Privy Council for Canada, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of Western Economic Diversification, will make an announcement at NRC's Edmonton-based nanotechnology cluster.

In addition to the Honourable Jim Prentice, the Honourable Rona Ambrose, NRC President, Dr. Pierre Coulombe, University of Alberta President, Dr. Indira Samarasekera, and Alberta's Minister of Advanced Education and Technology, the Honourable Doug Horner, will be addressing government, private sector and university stakeholders.
