| Why: | On February 3, 2012, a 29-year-old Black man named Michael Eligon was shot and killed when he was encountered by the Toronto Police. Mr. Eligon was undergoing a psychiatric assessment at Toronto East General Hospital when he left the hospital in stocking wearing a blue hospital gown. |
| Members of Never Again, along with other concerned community members, will address the regular monthly meeting of the Toronto Police Services Board meeting (beginning at 1.30 PM). They will be calling for systemic reforms in Toronto policing. |
