OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 20, 2012) - Giant Tiger is excited to announce the move of their Shawville location to a brand new building! This new Giant Tiger store will be bigger, brighter and better suited to serve the needs of the community in Shawville. It will also boast Giant Tiger's new look. Once completed, it will offer an entirely new shopping experience for both existing and new customers.
The new store will be built on the vacant land directly adjacent to the existing store at C479 Route 148. The store will have approximately 17,285 square feet of selling space, a significant increase from 11,800 square feet in the existing store.
"We expanded our building 12 years ago to serve you better and, because of your continued support, we need to grow again!" says Ken Pack, Store Owner of the Shawville location. "In our new building we will be able to improve your shopping experience making each visit to our store a memorable one. The new store will open on Saturday, March 2, 2013.
