Media Advisory: New Investments at the Maurice Lamontagne Institute and Dredging Projects in Gaspe and Magdalen Islands

MONT-JOLI, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - May 1, 2007) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada invites the media to a press conference that will be held on May 2 at the Maurice-Lamontagne Institute. Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Levis-Bellechasse, will announce, on behalf of the Honourable Loyola Hearn, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, investments to the Institute's analytical chemistry laboratories, as well as dredging projects in Gaspe and Magdalen Islands.
