Media Advisory: New NRT Report to Advise Governments on Sustainability of Water and the Natural Resource Sectors

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Nov. 15, 2011) - The National Round Table on the Environment and the Economy (NRT) will release a new report examining the policy path Canada must take to ensure the sustainability of its water supply, especially in light of growing demand from our natural resource sectors.

Charting a Course: Sustainable Water Use by Canada's Natural Resource Sectors examines the long-term importance of getting water sustainability on the agenda of industries, governments and communities.

Date of release: Thursday, November 17, 2011

Time: 7 a.m. EST

The report, along with a news release and background information, will be distributed electronically and posted on the NRT website (www.nrtee-trnee.ca). Printed copies will also be made available at the NRT Office at 344 Slater Street, Suite 200, Ottawa, Ontario.
