Media Advisory/News Conference: Awareness Campaign to Combat Child Sex Tourism

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 16, 2010) - Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) and its partners invite media representatives to a news conference on Thursday, November 18, for the launch of an awareness campaign to combat child sex tourism, supported by UNICEF Canada and to mark International Children's Rights Day.

Representatives of the following will attend:

  • International Bureau for Children's Rights (organization with special advisor status to the United Nations Economic and Social Council)

  • Aéroports de Montréal

  • Canada Border Services Agency

  • Service de police de la ville de Montréal (SPVM)

  • Sûreté du Québec

  • One Child

  • Plan Canada

Representatives will address the media to explain the objectives of the campaign and measures being taken to combat sex tourism involving children.
