Media Advisory-News Conference on Major CN Rail Service Case

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 8, 2007) - Great Northern Grain (GNG), owners of an inland grain terminal in the Peace River District, will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. EST today (March 8) at the National Press Theatre in Ottawa to discuss the action it is filing today against Canadian National Railway (CN). The action, being filed with the Canadian Transportation Agency, is supported by 10 western Canadian grain-industry corporations, which will apply for intervener status in the case. A number of the interveners will be present at the news conference.

Accredited journalists are invited to attend in person or by teleconference (register by calling the number below before 10:30 EST). The news conference will also be Webcast live on and retained on the site for 90 days.
