WELLAND, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 3, 2011) - Lincoln, Welland Haldimand Building and Construction Trades Council Political Action Committee -

Who: A group of Niagara, Haldimand and Hamilton area taxpayers will once again picket Ontario PC leader Tim Hudak's campaign office.
What: Seniors, those on fixed incomes and homeowners will protest Tim Hudak's plan that will add to their residential property taxes.
When: Noon, Tuesday, October 4, 2011
Where: Tim Hudak campaign office 21 Main Street at Elm Ave in Grimsby.
Why: At a recent Association of Municipalities of Ontario meeting, Tim Hudak would not rule out downloading provincial programs onto municipalities like he did when he was part of the Mike Harris government. This downloading has the potential to add hundreds of dollars to the average municipal taxpayer. Seniors and those on fixed incomes will be the ones most hurt.
