TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 17, 2014) - The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and Zymeworks Inc., a leading Canadian biotherapeutics company, will announce tomorrow a strategic collaborative agreement focused on developing innovative therapies for the fight against cancer.
Dr. Roman Szumski, Vice President of Life Sciences at the National Research Council; Dr. Ali Tehrani, President and Chief Executive Officer of Zymeworks; and, Dr. Julie Ducharme, General Manager of Human Health Therapeutics at NRC, will be available for interviews.
Two microscopes will be on display for guests and media to observe early stage and advanced stage cancer cells which, even to the untrained eye, look extremely different.
