Media Advisory: Official Opening of Library and Archives Canada's Nitrate Film Preservation Centre

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 17, 2011) - Library and Archives Canada invites the media to the official opening of the Nitrate Film Preservation Centre. The new facility will now be home to an impressive collection which consists of 5,575 reels of film, dating from as early as 1912, and approximately 600,000 photographic negatives.
