Media Advisory: OFL President Sid Ryan in Sudbury, Oct. 3 for Media Conference


SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 2, 2011) - On Mon., Oct 3, OFL President Sid Ryan will join Sudbury NDP candidates, France Gélinas and Paul Loewenberg for a media conference highlighting the critical issues of jobs and the economy.

Only days before the provincial election, Ryan will be urging union members and all workers to use the power of their vote to ensure a NDP victory. "Good jobs and strong public services are vital to Northern competitiveness and Sudbury's future," said Ryan. "More corporate tax breaks, fewer and lower-paying jobs and contracted public services will impair the North's ability to sustain the difficult times ahead."
