Media Advisory: OFL's Sid Ryan Available for Election Commentary Throughout the Day

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 2, 2011) - Himself a former NDP candidate, OFL President Sid Ryan is available for election commentary throughout the day and as election results roll in.


9:30 am until 6:00 pm - Canvassing the Oshawa riding

9:00 pm until the final results are in - Jack Layton's Election Night Party, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Constitution Hall, 255 Front Street.

Throughout the day, Ryan will be knocking on doors today in his home riding of Oshawa to pull the vote for NDP Candidate Chris Buckley. Ryan ran as an NDP candidate multiple times in the riding and came within 400 votes against Conservative incumbent Colin Carrie in his last election. Ryan will be available for comment on the response at the door to Jack Layton's message of change.

During the evening, Ryan will be available on site at Jack Layton's election party for commentary as the election results roll in across the country and once the final numbers are tallied.
