TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - June 22, 2017) - Ontario Ombudsman Paul Dubé will release his annual report for the 2016-2017 fiscal year on Tuesday, June 27 – at an 11 a.m. news conference in the Queen's Park Media Studio. The report reviews the accomplishments of the Ombudsman's Office and updates recent and ongoing investigations.
Prior to the news conference, there will be a technical briefing for journalists from 9:45 -10:45 a.m. in Committee Room 1, where copies of the Ombudsman's report will be available (under embargo until the news conference). Ombudsman staff will be available to answer questions on background. Journalists who are not members of the Queen's Park Press Gallery are asked to report to Room 387A of the Legislative Building for passes, or call 416-325-7922.
The news conference will be streamed live and can be watched online at the Ombudsman's website, www.ombudsman.on.ca, where the full report and media materials will also be posted at 11 a.m. Updates will be posted on the Ombudsman's Twitter accounts (@Ont_Ombudsman and @Ont_OmbudsmanFR).
