Media Advisory: Operator of InSite in Ottawa for Supreme Court Case Hearing

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 11, 2011) - PHS Community Services, the non-profit that operates InSite—North America's only supervised injection site—are in Ottawa to appear before the Supreme Court of Canada and will be available for comment on the case. Together with InSite users Dean Wilson and Shelly Tomic, the operators will be providing a briefing of the Supreme Court Case before the trial, and at break periods.

WHERE: In front of the Supreme Court of Canada

WHAT: Briefing on the Supreme Court case which concerns InSite's constitutional right to exist.

WHEN: Thursday May 12, 2011 at 8:30 AM, during hearing breaks and after the hearing.

InSite is the only supervised injection site in North America and has been operating in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside (DTES) since 2003.
