ONTARIO, OTTAWA--(Marketwire - May 9, 2008) - Parks Canada and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada invite you to the unveiling of a plaque commemorating the national historic significance of the Grey Nuns of Montreal.

The Grey Nuns of Montreal are historically remembered as pioneers of healthcare services in the province of Quebec. They are responsible for the organization and creation of an efficient occupational structure for nursing care. Their dedicated work advanced the careers of women in nursing throughout the country.

Mr. Steven Blaney, Member of Parliament for Levis-Bellechasse, will participate on behalf of Canada's Environment Minister John Baird.
