PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - May 5, 2009) -


WHAT:  CBS's "The Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan will cycle through
       Philadelphia on his Ride Across America to build support for and
       awareness of multiple sclerosis.  Phil is a longtime participant in
       the Society's Bike MS rides and has a family member living with MS.

WHEN:  Thursday, May 7
       Cyclist registration starts at 8 a.m., Kick-off starts at 9 a.m.

WHERE: GNC, Andorra Shopping Center, 8500 Henry Ave., Philadelphia

WHO:   "The Amazing Race" host Phil Keoghan, people living with MS and
       fans of "The Amazing Race." Phil will be joined by hundreds of
       supporters of the MS movement on a six-mile bike ride as the
       reality TV star kicks off the final leg of his tour to New York
       City.

WHY:   Keoghan is in a race of his own -- a cross-country cycling journey
       that has him cycling from Los Angeles to New York. His ride is
       averaging 100 miles per day for a total of over 3,500 miles
       spanning 40 days, with stops in more than 30 different cities.
       During this trip across the country, he is participating in
       National MS Society events at local GNC stores.
