Media Advisory/Photo Op: Laid Off CanJet Flight Attendants Return Their Uniforms

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - April 13, 2012) - In a symbolic gesture, laid off flight attendants from CanJet's Halifax base invite the media to join them as they collectively return their uniforms to their employer.

CanJet is a subsidiary of IMP Group. Halifax based IMP Group touts itself as being Atlantic Canada's and Nova Scotia's top employer as well as one of Canada's best managed companies.

The 18 flight attendants, who happen to be some of the company's most senior employees, beg to differ.

Spokespersons for the flight attendants will be joined by CUPE Nova Scotia President Danny Cavanagh and will be on location to comment.

Where: CanJet hangar/HQ, 677 Barnes Rd, Enfield
