TORONTO, ON--(Marketwired - September 12, 2016) - The last week of summer just got brighter -- and sweeter! From September 12 to 16, kids from Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital will be distributing lemon squares in downtown Toronto as part of a new campaign to challenge Canadians to change their perceptions about kids with disabilities.
Some people think kids with disabilities were given lemons in life. We prefer to focus on the kid. Because, like all kids, they are bright, bold, fun and full of possibility.
WHAT: Pop-up bakery cart in downtown Toronto, from September 12 to 16
WHEN & WHERE:
- Monday, September 12 (noon to 2 p.m.): 2 Queen St. E.
(Main Lobby, southeast corner)
WHO: Kids, families, and Holland Bloorview staff will be onsite to lead inspiring conversations about disability.
WHY: Come by, enjoy a lemon square, and hear inspiring conversations about disability. Did we mention our lemon squares are awesome, just like the kids?
