EIGHT BC CHILDREN'S CHARITIES TO RECEIVE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES GRANTS Attention: Assignment Editor, Health/Medical Editor, Photo Editor, Sports Editor BURNABY, BC--(CCNMatthews - April 25, 2005) - Funding for eight British Columbia children's charities will be announced by Ronald McDonald House Charities at a special event. These eight special charities provide and support programs that improve the quality of life for children and families of children with serious and/or life-threatening illnesses or disabilities. The recipient charities will be joined by dozens of other BC children's charities to learn more about the grant application process and to celebrate the occasion.

Photo Op:

Crispin Lipscomb and Nori Uryu a fourteen year old skiing enthusiast will demonstrate how to use a bi-ski. The Kelowna and District Society for People in Motion will be purchasing bi-skis and other adaptive sports equipment thanks to their RMHC grant.
