Media Advisory/Political Junkie Cafe; Pin-Up Prime Minister, Part 4: Lester B. Pearson

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 23, 2009) - Library and Archives Canada Forum on Canadian Democracy is inviting the media to its next Political Junkie Cafe entitled Pin-up Prime Ministers, Part 4: Lester B. Pearson.

Our first guest, best-selling author and syndicated columnist Andrew Cohen, will be discussing Lester B. Pearson's achievements during his minority government in addition to his groundbreaking work with the United Nations which gained him the Nobel Peace Prize.

Our second guest, Dr. Ann Livingstone, Vice-President of Research and Education at the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, will be discussing Canada's position as a peacekeeping country today and the challenges of this historical role.
