Nine hundred delegates, alternates and guests from all parts of the province will attend this year's Annual Meeting of the Provincial Assembly of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers' Federation (OSSTF/FEESO).

President Paul Elliott is scheduled to deliver the state of the union address at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and will be available for comments at the conclusion of his presentation at approximately 10:15 a.m.

In addition, Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne is tentatively scheduled to address the assembly on Sunday, March 9 at 11:00 a.m., and New Democratic Party of Ontario Leader Andrea Horwath is tentatively scheduled to address the assembly on Monday, March 10 at 11:30 a.m.

Media representatives are welcome throughout all three days of the assembly. Please report to the credentials desk in the Grand Ballroom foyer to pick up media passes.

ASSEMBLY HIGHLIGHTS

Saturday, March 8

9:30 a.m. President Paul Elliott will deliver the state of the union address.

1:35 p.m. Presentation of the Student Achievement Awards in honour of Marion Drysdale. This moving ceremony honours students from across the province.

Sunday, March 9

11:00 a.m. Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne addresses the assembly (tentative).

Monday, March 10

11:30 a.m. Ontario NDP Leader Andrea Horwath addresses the assembly (tentative).

OSSTF/FEESO, founded in 1919, has 60,000 members across Ontario.
