Media Advisory: Proclamation of the Launch of the 2009 Ottawa Irish Festival by His Worship Larry O'Brien, Mayor of Ottawa

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 3, 2009) - To celebrate the 2009 Ottawa Irish Festival, Library and Archives Canada, in collaboration with the Irish Society of the National Capital Region, invite the news media to the official Proclamation, which will be followed by an Irish music festival.

Special guests include His Worship Larry O'Brien, Mayor of Ottawa and His Excellency Declan Kelly, Ambassador of Ireland.

Free admission for the Proclamation at 6:30 p.m.
