As Providence Healthcare celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, raising funds to expand the organization's Alzheimer Day Program (ADP) is at the centre of fundraising initiatives during its milestone year.

Media are invited to join members of the Providence Healthcare community on Tuesday Oct. 23, as they gather to create the 150-year-anniversary logo, joining hands to represent the lifeline of support provided to Providence's programs and services through the financial contributions of the Providence Healthcare Foundation. The photograph is being presented to the Foundation to thank all involved for their ongoing efforts, including fundraising an astounding $2.5 million for new and expanded facilities for the Alzheimer Day Program.

The ADP is an award-winning service for clients with dementia, and for their caregivers, offering recreation activities and caregiver support in a unique and nurturing environment.
