Media Advisory-Putting a Face to the Canadian Obesity Epidemic

The Canadian Obesity Network – Réseau canadien en obésité (CON-RCO) is hosting a photo shoot for "real-life" models from the greater Edmonton area towards the launch of a new stock image bank that will dismantle the negative and unflattering stereotypes placed on people living with excess weight. The images in the Picture-Perfect at Any Size photo gallery will be available for appropriate use by researchers, clinicians, industry, the public and media.

Several individuals living with excess weight, as well as their friends and families, will be available for interviews and photo opportunities for media.
