Media Advisory: Rally to Protest Mcneil Government's Bill 100 Set for Cape Breton University, April 27, 4:00 pm


SYDNEY, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwired - April 27, 2015) - Delegates from the CUPE Nova Scotia convention taking place in Sydney this week will be heading en masse to Cape Breton University (CBU) this afternoon to protest the latest attack on unions from the McNeil Liberals.

Some 250 delegates and guests are expected to be joined by faculty and other staff from CBU, students and other community supporters to protest Bill 100, legislation that is designed to gut collective bargaining in the post-secondary sector across the province.
